Well – it does seem like everytime I go home to Michigan there is some issue ! Last time I flew home there was a huge thunderstorm that knocked all the electricity in the airport as soon as I walked up the kiosk to do My check in - twice. The time before that – I was to connect thru chicago, and they cancelled My flight — but somehow My luggage made it to Chicago – and I ended up having to do a super race drive trip home – and then they re routed My luggage back to St Louis, and I didn’t get it until I was driving home and swung by the airport and picked up My stupid luggage – and that is also the day that My LiveJournal was hacked to pieces. lmao. SO this year I thought I was getting off really really easy because I flew straight thru into Detroit metro with no baggage fees, and it was quick and painless … then of course … on My Birthday some ass hole wants to make trouble for what is left in Detroit – which isn’t much – ugh. so I was anxious the night before I left because I thought the lines would be out the door – according to CNN anyways – so I checked in online to by pass the check in lines, and crammed everything I could in My carry on – and zipped to the airport – lucky Southwest has its only dinky terminal – so I got there wayyyyy ahead of time to breeze thru security in 5 minutes WITH My shoes on ( opps ) and was at the gate two hours ahead of time. lol. so much worrying for nothing ! I mean seriously – Michigan’s unemployment rate is 5% higher than the national average – 1 in 5 people in Mid Michigan don’t have enough to eat every day….so thats just a seriously dumb move by this dumb ass.
Anyways, I had a wonderful time at home. I miss it a lot when I’m gone. My folks were nearly kicking Me out anyways, bc they always head back to their winter home in Florida usually the day after My Birthday, so they were busy taking down the tree and packing to get out !!! I even went to Church and didn’t burst into flames when I walked thru the doors. Yeah I know – I was surprised as well. hehehehe.
Now, let’s talk about the new 55” Samsung LED TV —–

It’s amazingly thin – about 50 lbs including all the packaging – It’s not up on the mount yet – it needs longer screws, and I need more HDMI cables, and a new Wii connector – and some stupid USB splitter to get the full effect of sound and opticals, which have been ordered – So no more RCA cords so the whole thing is taking Me away from familiar electronic hookups ( which I am a total professional at ) which sucks – lets talk about the retarded clarity of this thing – it makes everything look like episodes from Dr Who or Lost in Space… lol …. you can tell what is green screen or what is CGI – its TOO clear. I like the filter that gives Me seamless scene jumps. this thing is TOO CLEAR for todays movie and tv productional output. I’m not kidding. Sports look AMAZING, but I could care less ABOUT sports, but the picture is unbelievable. Watching movies though – where you thought before ” omg this looks SO good ” now I think ” omg – this looks totally like a set “ so it’s taking some time to get used to, but I think the more I watch, the better it will become.
I am REALLY digging Windows 7 on the new giant 24 inch Sony touch screen desktop, although I don’t use that feature too much, its fcking crazy and I loveeee it. it does seem to white out My webcam’s though bc the screen is SO bright, but really, do you think I care ? hehehehehehe.
When I arrived home from My trip home – I was greeted to My Large Sukey Gucci tote =) She was looking at Me so shyly, unable to contain herself in the box straight from Gucci.com – she beggggged to be ripped open and loved on – so never one to disappoint ……

New Years is right around the corner. I’m not sure I’m up to going out – I always seem to be on PMS during the New year.
